The 10FOLD Foundation recently hosted its second annual Stuff the truck event in support of the Okotoks Food Bank—an initiative that has quickly become a meaningful and energizing tradition within the organization.
While the holiday season often brings an abundance of donations, the summer months tend to be quieter, leaving many families in need. Recognizing this seasonal gap, 10FOLD Group CEO Nathan Neufeld launched the 10FOLD Grocery Dash—a fast-paced, community-focused event that transforms grocery shopping into an act of kindness.
Once again, the 10FOLD Foundation partnered with the outstanding team at Okotoks Sobeys, who welcomed the event with open doors and even bigger hearts.
Shoppers from across the 10FOLD Group of Companies grabbed carts, calculators, and grocery lists, launching into a friendly competition filled with strategic spending and high-speed aisle sprints. The result was an operation that combined precision, passion, and purpose.
The 2025 event brought together a team of some of the most caring, enthusiastic, and joyfully competitive individuals, including:
Nathan Neufeld, Ron Moon, Brett Schenk, Aliya Coy, Grace Neufeld, Janai Froese, Ryan Monson, Oluwatobi Amusan, Kim Stroud, Nuha Neufeld, Corinna Kawulych, Thabiso Hlatshwayo, Adrian Pineda, Tamara Spencer, and Michele Foster.
Each participant contributed their own energy, humour, and heartfelt commitment to the shared belief that when a community calls, people show up—together.
2024 donation: 4,083 pounds of food
2025 goal: 5,000 pounds
2025 total donated: 4,476 pounds
Total value: $17,332.00
The day was defined not by numbers, but by the laughter in the aisles, the high-fives in the parking lot, and the sense of joy as the truck filled with food.
The Okotoks Food Bank continues to be a quiet but powerful presence on the front lines—meeting individuals and families in some of their most vulnerable moments with compassion, dignity, and care. The 10FOLD Foundation is proud to support this critical work and deeply values the Food Bank’s unwavering commitment to the community.
Okotoks Sobeys also played a vital role, offering more than just store space. Their support included navigating overflowing carts, assisting with checkout, and helping load over 4,400 pounds of food into the truck. Their patience, teamwork, and enthusiasm turned organized chaos into a smooth and memorable operation.
The 10FOLD Foundation is already brainstorming ways to make next year’s event even more impactful. For now, the focus remains on gratitude—for the opportunity to give, for the power of shared purpose, and for a community that comes together when it matters most.
This is the spirit of Stuff the truck. This is what happens when good people unite for a great cause.
Thank you to everyone who made it possible.
